On November 17 and 18, SOLIS SRLS, in collaboration with its partners and beneficiaries, celebrated the successful conclusion of the BUSThink project. This small-scale Erasmus+ project, focused on adult education, was coordinated by CarpoACE Europa from Málaga (Spain) with participation from SOLIS SRLS (Modena, Italy) and PFE (Belgium). The final event, hosted at the BIC Euronova headquarters in Málaga's TechPark, brought together participants and experts from across Europe.
A Cultural and Networking Journey: November 17
The first day offered a blend of culture and informal networking. SOLIS SRLS, along with its team and beneficiaries, joined a guided tour through the heart of Málaga, culminating in a visit to the renowned Carmen Thyssen Museum. The evening closed with a networking dinner, providing an ideal setting to strengthen relationships, share experiences, and foster meaningful connections in a warm and enriching atmosphere.
The Main Event: November 18
The core event unfolded on November 18. Following the opening welcome, partners and beneficiaries shared their experiences with the BUSThink project, emphasizing the Agile Business Design (BUSThink) method. This innovative approach was specifically developed to support migrant adults over 50 in creating and growing sustainable small businesses.
A standout moment of the day was the presentation by Víctor Tienda, Innovation Consultant and Mentor at BIC Euronova. He provided valuable insights into funding opportunities at local, regional, and national levels, inspiring participants to envision new possibilities for their entrepreneurial projects.
The Protagonists: Beneficiaries and Their Business Plans
At the heart of the event were the beneficiaries: migrant men and women over 50 from Spain, Italy, and Belgium. After months of training, creative work, and dedication, they proudly presented the business plans they developed during the project. These plans showcased their resilience, innovative spirit, and commitment to contributing to society through sustainable entrepreneurship.
Conclusion: Networking and Collaboration for an Inclusive Future
The event wrapped up with a networking session accompanied by catering, creating opportunities for fruitful dialogue among participants, experts, and local stakeholders. The BUSThink project has firmly established itself as a model for social inclusion and innovation. It demonstrates that through networking, international collaboration, and targeted training, we can build a more sustainable and equitable future.
